Overview
The first Musicollage Retreat!
This will be a creative 3-night, 4-day experience in Frenchtown, NJ to:
- Weave your musical practice with your wellbeing. Deepen your musical practice so it’s available to you to express your full range of emotions. Refresh your creative well for making inspiring music with a supportive community and feel-good activities: nature walks, movement, meditation, and writing by the river.
- Build fundamental skills for songwriting and musical discovery (e.g. writing lyrics, creating rhythm, writing melody and harmony, playing different instruments to create full arrangements)
- Dip your toes into musical production. In small groups, everyone will get a chance to record a song in our home studio, learning the basics for DIY recording and producing a full sound.
- Share a song with the group and build confidence for your future performances - whether it's for family, friends or on your dream stage.
